Division 2 max gear stats

The Division 2 weapons come in many forms, but the best Division 2 weapons will combine not only some great stats, but great weapon talentstoo. Below, you'll find a whopping rundown of all known weapons in The Division 2 in our weapon damage stats charts and listsand we'll also provide a full list of weapon talents and some explanation of how it all ties together, too.

We'll start with the weapon damage stats, and then move to an explanation of those talents, including what they are and how exactly they work. Choosing your weapon, or identifying the best weapons in The Division 2, is down to more than just the raw numbers. Different weapons require different strengths - it's more important a rifle can deal out huge damage in one round, for instance, whilst it's more important that an SMG has high damage-per-second as you empty a full clip.

There's also the fact that weapon damage in The Division 2 works differently to a game where guns have 'flat' stats. The Division 2 is a loot shooter - it's about getting better versions of things as you progress through the game - and as such you'll find multiple versions of the same weapon with different stats for things like damage and as a result, damage-per-second.

With that in mind, here are a handful of things to bear in mind about both how you use the stats below, and how we've chosen to present them ourselves, which are worth quickly reading over before you dive into the numbers! With that explanation out of the way, let's dive into the weapon damage stats and numbers themselves! Look for more advice pages like this? Weapon Talents are the things that are going to turn a good weapon into a great one.

Talents are perks, or bonuses, essentially - things that grant a specific bonus to a specific thing, and can make a huge difference to the viability of the weapon at hand. There are about fifty weapon talents in The Division 2, and they break down into three categoeis: passive, active, or holstered.

Here's what those mean:. First, not all talents can be found on all weapons. Whether a weapon has a talent is down to luck - unless it's an Exotic, which comes with fixed talents for that unique Exotic itself - but obviously the type of weapon it is will narrow it down a bit.

The 'Cannon' talent isn't available on Rifles, for instance, but it is on Marksman Rifles. Second, and quite importantly, some talents have specific requirements for be activated, too. Aside from First Blood and Naked, which both require you to have 8x Scopes or lesser equipped, all of these requirements are based on the number of specific stat bonuses you have. Stat bonuses, if you need a refresher which would be understandable These are colour-coded red, blue, and yellow respectively, and are shown next to your level number or Gear Score, after you hit level 30 and the endgame in your inventory menu.

Look for a little yellow battery symbol for your number of active Skill stat boosts, a blue shield that looks like a downwards pointing arrow for your Defensive stat boosts, and a red circular target for your Offensive boosts.

The Division 2 Warlords of New York – How To Get To Level 40

Bringing it back to talents: many of them will require a certain number of a certain type of stat boost. The Frenzy talent, for instance, requires 4 or fewer Defensive stat boosts; the Perpetuation talent requires 5 or more Skill ones.

With that hopefully much clearer, let's dive into the numbers again. Here's a big list of known weapon talents - again, thanks to Apocryphate on reddit who's spreadsheet is our main source here, along with this infographic shared by MyWorstEnemy on reddit and the above spreadsheet again. Rifle and what build do i use. Just seen a video quoting one of the devs saying in the next big update that gear score items will have everything at max roll.

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a really bad idea or desperate one. That was basically what the optimization station did in Division 1, but wasn't introduced until the game was 3 years old and at the end of its life cycle D2 had already been announced and coming 6 months later. It basically means there will be practically nothing left to grind for, will cease to be a looter shooter and just be a shooter with limited content.

Really surprised if they take this path, would mean a much more hasty end to The Division 2 would bet the game doesn't even come close to the 3 year run the first game had if they do this so early. Still the simple matter of finding a gear item with the right skills, the right bonuses and the right brand name Maybe GS items will be a lower drop rate?

Yeah all our current gear because it is "not" maxed rolled will probably be lowered in gear score so we will have to grind out our gear all again and if gs is even more rare, their plan for the eternal grind is complete. Can you post the actual video, because change like that makes zero sense and would break the game beyond repair.

So they are doing complete overhaul of the attributes and gear. I guess their idea of new content is to delete all your gear so you can grind again for new one. GL with that. Oh I see now, the higher the gear score the higher the bars will be filled for what ever attributes are on the item. Personally I think this is awesome!

I mean I have weapons and gear items at gear score 's that have waaay better stats then gear score I am not sure I understand why that would kill the game or break the game. I think a level 50 item should have higher stats then a level 10 item inside of any game, or am I missing something? Besides, good luck trying to get RNG to give you the right skill and attribute combination you are looking for.

I mean we all will still have to do an insane amount of farming and spend long hours searching for the gear that we really want for our builds. I just see them making gear better based on the item's level a positive as with any loot game I've played. Then again I get bummed when I am playing a loot game, finally get that one item I want to drop only to see that it has crappy lower stats then the item I already have that's 10 levels lower.

Thats actually a good thing, because that way any piece you get might be useful for your either to equip or to recalibrate. That's not true. The only hard part and challenge is to get those stats high enough and is not just gonna get easier by the new patch, that challenge gonna be outright removed. I fully agree with Tallin. You are gonna get equiped in OP xy mil dps build in few days and then what? Either I am right and it will break the game, because it removes looter part from looter-shooter or you are right and it will be an improvement, but thanks to yet another gear overhaul, I'll have to regrind half of my build again.

I'm really getting sick of Massive's complete lack of long-term concept, they are just making stuff up as they go, pretty much throwing shit against a wall and waiting to see what sticks. First, lets try to keep the negative toxic levels to a minimum.

I am very relaxed about rules and what nots but negativity is a toxic poison that can and will kill any group of people so I have zero tolerance for it. Its the biggest and number one problem with the game industry at the moment. The Division 2 weapons come in many forms, but the best Division 2 weapons will combine not only some great stats, but great weapon talentstoo.

At this moment in time, it looks as though the max gear score in The Division 2 is currently set to However, following the release of the World Tier 5 and Tidal Basin update, this was raised to Some believe that the recalibration mechanic within the game may see some stats bleeding into higher scores, though whether this is intentional or a bug remains to be seen.

As such, the current soft max gear score iswith a hard cap currently unconfirmed. Who knows, perhaps Ubisoft dropped this mechanic into The Division 2 so players could get themselves prepared for World Tier 5 when it drops in the near future. There are two factors that affect the Gear Score of any item in The Division 2. This is then combined with the quality color of an item, which determines how many components it has which can be moddedand if it has any talents. As such, to increase Gear Score, you simply need to get weapons and gear with higher scores.

This means that you can run a low-level loadout, and still have a chance of getting gear drops that would increase your score. MUST BUY NOW - THE DIVISION 2 (MAX STATS)

Knowing these damage ranges is only half the problem, however. The Division 2 does a horrible job of allowing you to view a weapons raw damage, because the damage numbers are calculated on screen with your gear, talents, and specialization stats included.

Thankfully, there are a few simple workarounds that will have you searching for the very best weapons in no time. So, those are the damage ranges for all of the noteworthy weapons in the game. These ranges are for High-End gearscore versions of the weapons.

The lower the gear score, the lower the range. Like I said previously, The Division 2 makes it difficult to view the damage a weapon has due to gear, talents, and specializations. So why not remove those factors completely! My weapons mule character. Perfect for viewing base numbers. One of the easiest ways to view a weapons damage is to create a new character — one with the grey gear that you start with — and then just move the weapons you want to check the damage for into the shared stash.

I can scroll through all weapons in my stash and inventory, viewing the base damage numbers. The best part of this method is that creating a character and progressing to the White House only takes a few minutes.

You can even play through the first mission and gather a couple of SHD Tech to increase your inventory should you wish to hold on to more weapons. First, you want to equip the weapon you want to check the damage of in the primary weapon slot. Next, head to the stat screen, as shown below, making a note of the weapon damage 24, All weapon damage The weapon stats screen has all the information you need to work out weapon damage.
